The Board of Pastures & Grazing NSW is currently seeking individuals to join the Board as voluntary, non-executive Directors. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the agricultural sector in New South Wales while expanding your knowledge and skills in a vital industry.

Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the Board, you will be expected to:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the sustainable management of Pastures & Grazing NSW
  • Work collaboratively with other board members to support farmers and land managers to improve on-farm practices, productivity and profitability
  • Participate in regular Board meetings and contribute to the development of long-term strategies
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess: 

  • A strong background in agriculture, agronomy, pastural or related scienced-backed industries, with relevant qualifications and experience, or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
