Australian Agronomy Conference

The 2026 Agronomy Australia Conference will now take place from 24–28 August 2026 at Charles Darwin University’s Danala Campus located in the heart of the Darwin CBD.

Why the Change?

Shifting the conference from June to August allows us to bring together a record number of agronomic professionals, without clashing with other major national agricultural events.

  • 25-26 August - Conference Day 1 & 2
  • 27-28 August - Field Trips - Featuring visits to Mango farms, Coastal Plains Research Farm, Berrimah Farm Science Precinct, Douglas Daly Research Farm and The Plant Smith Nursery and more

Updates to key dates:

  • 6 October 2025 – EOI submissions close
  • 24 April 2026 – Research Paper submissions close
  • 27 June 2026 – Final result announced
  • 24 July 2026 – Presenter registration closes
  • 14 August 2026 – PowerPoint presentations due

Selected abstracts will be invited for full paper submission and conference presentation.
