Lester is an accomplished agronomist, with particular interest in the field of native and tropical pastures, soil carbon and renewable energy. Bringing with him almost 40 years’ experience at the Department of Agriculture in various specialist roles, he currently provides independent agronomic advice through his own consultancy in Manilla, NSW. A member of the Ag Institute of Australia, Soil Science Australia, and Australian Society of Agronomy, Lester is a keen advocate of P&GNSW’s vision - to ethically provide members with evidence-based information only, using the latest science and technology.
